Welcome stranger!
My artistic practice blends illustration, documentary photography, and storytelling to explore fragile ecosystems and the blurred lines between reality and imagination. I construct visual worlds where fiction grows from fact.

What is the most important fact?
„We already live in a fantasy world. Just look around.”

,,What else is out there?”
,,Who else is out there?”
,,And now, just for a moment, keep your feet on the ground… If you can.”
,,I know. Returning from the depths of wonder is never easy.”
„But why?”
Behind every illustration lies a long journey and most importantly, a true story. When I head into the field for research, I step into the shoes of an adventurer, carry the curiosity of a biologist, and sometimes, thanks to a new piece of the puzzle, I start exploring new media like 3D printing, building physical structures, or creating props in real environments. I expose myself to the harshest conditions and travel to some of the most remote corners this beautiful planet has to offer. Working with real-world elements gives me the freedom to imagine, because everything I create is at least partly grounded in reality. There is no AI in my work. And that only makes it more astonishing how surreal the real world can be. That’s what Woven Worlds is really about. Maybe, just maybe, this playful mix of imagination, art and science can help share a different kind of story that brings us a little closer to the fragile ecosystems we’re part of.
